Joni has saved us more that once now when my boys had trauma to the teeth and gums. I am so thankful for the way she puts us as parents and the kids at ease over the phone. She walks us through how to deal with the pain and explains everything so well. Then, she gets them right in to double-check and refers us to have the best follow-up care. Joni definitely has a gift. Thank you so much for all your great care.

Our family loves GVPD. We’ve always had great experiences here. Dr. Justin is amazing. We had to leave a message on the weekend when my daughter had a mouth injury and he responded right away and had us text him pictures of the injury to assess and made sure his office staff followed up with us the following Monday. The whole staff are caring, gentle, patient and kind. My daughters, Jaycee and Penelope, actually look forward to their dentist appointments. We are grateful to have found them after not having a great first dentist experience with our oldest daughter. Highly recommend their office!

Brought my 4 year old in today for a consultation on ways to stop my him from sucking on his fingers. Dentist was amazing! She took her time with us and was very sweet with my son who can be pretty shy. She also was very thorough in explaining what options there were for us to try and why she does or doesn’t recommend one technique over another. Overall it was a great experience and both my son and myself felt very comfortable.

When should your child first visit the dentist? It may be sooner than you think! The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends that children see a dentist at the sign of a first tooth or by age one, whichever comes first. Call for an appointment today for your baby’s first dental visit. Know someone looking for a dentist their children will love? Share this post!

Primary teeth, or baby teeth, are as important to infants and children as permanent teeth are to older children and adults. Children need them when learning to speak and chew properly, and they’re important to a child’s overall self-image and confidence. Baby teeth also serve as “guides” for the proper eruption of permanent teeth. So, don’t forget to brush those baby teeth for two minutes, two times every day!

Who needs a smile today! Smiling releases hormones called endorphins, making you happier, more positive, and less stressed-out! Smiling has even been shown to strengthen your immune system. Keep smiling!

This kiddo came in and was so proud of this filled out sticker chart! He was rewarded for bringing it in with extra prizes, and balloons! If your family ever needs something like this to support building a brushing routine at home, you can come in and we will give you one.

Some adults and kids like to brush or scrape their tongues as part of their daily dental routine. It can be a great way to go the extra mile for your mouth and may help keep your tongue clean and your breath fresh. However, don't forget that it's most important to brush for 2 minutes, 2 times every day and to floss at least once a day. And don't forget to see us regularly!
